The report send out within the same date after inspection, provided detailed but neutral opinions for the house. If your happy with wasting your time, call this company! Called on the 8/11, booked an inspection for 14/11 at 8:00am.... Gave them all the information including real estate agents name and phone number and was told they would call him and let him know it was booked in. On the 11/11 was contacted by my agent asking when it was booked for, I asked him havnt they contacted you, his reply no. Called Twinspectors at 5:51pm and was told by some man the receptionist was away today and he did see something about "Calamvale" in office????? He also said receptionist will call me at 8:30am in the morning. 12/11 rolls around at 10:14am I still haven't recieved a phone call. I ring and speak to lady who tells me her "dropbox" hasn't been working and she cant do the date we agreed upon. Very unprofessional to say the least! I run a business myself and would never treat a customer in this way. RESPONSE: This is the first time I have ever heard the word "OVERTIME" from anyone in this company. She did say she had a time available for 13/11, but I'm sure your company knows your real estate agent has to let you in the premises, hence why you make a booking as he had already gave me his availability and could not make this time (not to mention letting the tenants know). "I find it surprising that you were the only job that was lost". I find this very insulting! My wife was standing next to me when I made this booking. I also have all the call logs on my phone (3 in total outgoings and not a single call made from your company phone to mine).A simple apology would have sufficed. Good job on showing your true colours.read more

I had the lovely Dave (building) and Brett (pest) go through a property yesterday as part of the usual pre purchase B&P... inspection. I was on site and those gents were not only thorough and knowledgable but were available to explain and show me problems they found, their opinion on how to rectify and whether it was considered major/minor. We spent over an hour at the home and both did their jobs independently and professionally - treating me with respect and talking to me without bias. This company was not the cheapest but when you are purchasing property - spending a little bit more to get industry professionals with decades of experience to find faults (or not) should be at the top of your requirement not trying to save a few hundred. My report came through the same day with photos. HIGHLY recommend this company. Thank you.read more

I engaged Twinspectors late last year by looking at these good reviews here, the building Inspector missed reporting a... significant defect and marked as a minor in the report instead so that you can easily overlook with their decisive recommendation reading it can be rectified part of ongoing maintenance. Noticed the defects on a day one after moved in, and found it’s throughout the house. After complaint the business director came to see the defects and agreed for me to engage QBCC and based on their say he was going to compensate. QBCC clearly found the inspector at fault and did not comply with AS4349.1 standard, then director offered to compensate too low. Now I have been negotiating with inspector’s insurance for compensation for last 2-3 months and replying on about silly arguments. I will update this review once I get the outcome but certainly not the situation you want to end up with. Guys please careful while selecting inspectors and don’t ever assume inspectors are going to pick up obvious things all the time, keep your eyes wide open at time of inspection and reiterate your concerns even they may try to make you look silly. Them having good online reviews didn’t quite worked out for me. Not all of them always seem to owe duty of care as you would think, and proving their fault and liability is questionable and frustrating with them backed up with layers of protection likes of their insurance and contractual conditions.read more
