Safeguard Your Investment with a Comprehensive Pre-Purchase Building & Pest Inspection

A properly executed pre-purchase building and pest inspection involves a meticulous examination of every accessible part of the property. Inspectors diligently identify defects, damages, and other potential issues that could indicate serious problems. With a Twinspectors building inspection, a dedicated two-person team thoroughly evaluates every accessible area of the building.

During a comprehensive Building & Pest inspection the inspectors identify defects, damage, maintenance issues, safety concerns, structural problems, and potential situations that could lead to future issues.

Interior

Key areas of focus include:

  • Damaged floor and wall coverings

  • Cracks

  • Evidence of moisture issues and roof leaks

  • Compliance with safety standards (such as stairs, windows, and doors)

  • Functionality of electrical appliances*

Additionally, the pest inspector specifically checks for:

  • Old or new damage from termites and borers

  • Moisture issues that could attract termites

  • Temperature variations caused by potential plumbing or termite problems using thermal imaging and a moisture meter.

* Please note, our inspectors are not licensed electricians. They are ONLY looking at whether the electrical components work and are undamaged.

Unsure what inspection your property needs?

Your Report

Building and pest inspection reports are essential tools in assessing the condition of a property before purchase.

However, it is important to note that these reports are valid for only 30 days from the date of the inspection. This validity period ensures that the report reflects the most current condition of the property.

“It’s highly recommended that the property be re-inspected if this Report is being considered more than thirty days after the Inspection. This report should not be relied upon if the contract for sale becomes binding more than 30 days after the date of the initial inspection. A re-inspection after this time is essential.”

Ensuring the accuracy and relevance of your property assessments is our priority.

Re-inspections provide peace of mind and protect your investment by accounting for any changes that may have occurred since the original inspection.

Contact us to schedule a re-inspection and maintain confidence in your property decisions.
